Many people opt to wear contact lenses rather than glasses. This can be for a number of reasons; commonly it is for sports as there is no threat of them breaking or falling off and it is a much safer alternative to wearing glasses - it may even improve your performance if you are currently playing with uncorrected vision. Another common reason is the fact that a lot of people do not feel that they suit glasses (something we would greatly disagree with - you have just not found the correct frame yet) or they just do not like wearing glasses and want contact lenses as an alternative.
