The first time your child needs to get glasses can be a bit of a shock to both them and yourself,  but you shouldn't worry at MM Eyecare Optometrists,  all staff members are here to help and guide you through the process.

It is particularly important for children to wear their glasses as it can have a huge impact on their education.  It is quite simple really,  if you can see the blackboard and your text books you will be able to follow the class but if you can't then you are going to struggle to keep up and understand what you are being taught.

We are aware that kids want to look good and if they do not like something they are not going to wear it.  This is especially true with glasses and, as they are worn daily, we want to make sure your children leave our practice happy with their new glasses.

With all this in mind, we have ensured that we have a wide selection of children and teenage frames in our practices.  We even have some junior designer ranges such as Ray-Ban JuniorTed BakerBenchPineapple Studios and Converse.  In Addition to our junior designers, we also have a wide range of children's glasses which are free of charge on the NHS and others which cost as little as £10.

We have recently started stocking Eyestuff frames;  a particularly good children's range which are colourful and trendy as well as being of exceptionally good quality,  these come in at only £35.
